Derma Medical Systems is the producer of the famous videodermatoscope MoleMax™. MoleMax™ was the first integrated system for epiluminescence microscopia and digital macro into the world.

MoleMax™ was the first system for digital epiluminescence developed for the practice dermatological clear set to doctors. The first unit was produced in 1997, thanks to the enthusiastic feedback from early adopters and intense clinical evaluation in the field it was possible to develop it further up to the current design. MoleMax™ was presented at international level in June 1997 at the Melanoma World Convention and later in the Dermatologists World Convention and has become the clinical standard. His technical design without compromise, which allows to obtain clinical images and archiviate for the follow-up, which has made it a standard among dermatologists engaged in scientific research. In addition, the technology MoleMax™ has been chosen by the European Commission under the program of Technological Innovation, for an evaluation program within an international consortium to set the standard for the method DELM (project 301044D IN).
