WHAT DOES CRYOLIPOLYSIS CONSIST OF?

The term “Cryolipolysis” refers to the gradual and non-invasive cooling of excess fat to induce a process of lipolysis, i.e. the destruction of fat cells, in order to reduce adipose tissue and restore skin elasticity without damaging other tissues . Cryolipolysis, therefore, is a technique that allows you to permanently reduce the number of fat cells, exactly as happens with liposuction, but with the difference of being a non-invasive treatment.

HOW DOES THE TREATMENT WORK?

The initial sensation is that the skin is being vigorously sucked. The cooling process then begins which may cause slight discomfort only for the first 10 minutes. At the end of the treatment, when the applicator is removed, the skin will obviously be cold and toned, showing a slight redness. The adipose tissue in the area to be treated is subjected to intense cold (-9°). Adipocytes, as already explained, therefore undergo a process of "apoptosis", i.e. programmed cell death. The body reacts with an inflammatory response that causes the natural disposal of damaged fat cells. The procedure allows a significant reduction of the fatty tissue in the treated area.
