The MB 200 high frequency electrosurgical devices allow you to perform medium monopolar or bipolar electrosurgery. The equipment can be used both with a dispensing time equal to the activation time of the output circuit and with an emission time programmable from 1 to 999 thousandths of a second. The programmed current pulse can be single or repeated from 1 to 500 times per second.
The programming of the emission and pause times allows it to be used for biopsy samples, with reduced modification of the sample taken and reduced thermal damage to the tissue being sampled. A particular surveillance circuit for plate-patient contact called Skin Plate Electronic Control safeguards the patient from the risk of burns due to the casual detachment of the reference plate.
The available waveforms and the values of the peak voltages used, as well as the accurate control of the high frequency leakage currents make the equipment particularly suitable for use in endoscopic surgery, for procedures such as polypectomy, prostatic resection (TURP), papillectomy, uterine resection, endometrial ablation, etc. Coagulation can be performed with a high crest factor current, to obtain a high thermal effect, or with a low crest factor current, to obtain coagulation in the absence of carbonization.
