Radiesse® is a dermal filler consisting of 30% calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres (25-45 um) and 70% of a carboxymethylcellulose gel, which keeps the particles in suspension. Calcium hydroxyapatite is a component of human bones and therefore is not recognized by the body as a foreign body. Over time the calcium hydroxyapatite breaks down and is reabsorbed by the body, which is why Radiesse® is considered a completely resorbable filler.

Thanks to the longer duration, the Radiesse effect can reach one year. The treatment is simple, comfortable and painless as the product contains an anesthetic (2% lidocaine).
