The transducer (handpiece cartridge) of the Ultraformer III HIFU emits high intensity ultrasound that penetrates the treated area to the chosen depth, with geometric precision. Focused ultrasound induces melting of adipose layers and thermal coagulation at different depths of the dermis and connective tissue. Thermal coagulation promotes the formation of new collagen fibers and all this translates into a non-invasive lifting effect.

Each Ultraformer III device has three different cartridges for a correct treatment at three different depths of action, for treatments of the face and décolleté area :

- Superficial dermis (1.5mm) - Acne, Large Pores Skin Toning Freckles, Skin Rejuvenation
- Deep dermis (3mm) - Lifting of the eye area. Wrinkles in the nose-lip area
- Connective Tissues (SMAS) (4.5mm) - Generic Lifting

Ultraformer III is also equipped with two additional cartridges of 6mm and 9mm for the treatment of localized fat deposits in the body.  

Each Cartridge allows the treatment of different areas and different pathologies :

The focused ultrasound penetrates the treated area and induces coagulation (tissue heating up to 65-70 degrees) exclusively at the chosen focal distance. There is no thermal damage in the adjacent areas. The two independent handpieces and the three interchangeable high frequency ultrasonic cartridges (7MHz, 4MHz and 2MHz) allow you to vary between multiple types of treatment.
