THE POWER BEHIND THE IMPULSE

Until recently, the nanosecond laser was the standard method for destroying tattoo pigments. However, this method has intrinsic limitations due to the longer pulse duration. Pulses of longer duration increase the temperature and consequently the risk of creating thermal damage to the surrounding tissue. Now, with the shorter pulse duration of the picosecond laser you can use higher fluence settings without the risk of thermal damage, allowing for faster, more effective and less painful treatments.
